John has the widest experience of pleading cases in the Isle of Man and in preparing them for trial. The Isle of Man has a fused legal profession and John is one of the most experienced litigators. He has honed his pleading and examination technique in many cases.

He is fearless in putting forward the case of his client but also realistic. He has appeared in the High Court, Appeal Court and Privy Council in London.

He performs cost benefit analyses at several stages of the case to advise on important practical factors such as cost to date, future cost, what is to be gained or risked and overall benefit.

His approach also encompasses looking at alternative routes and remedies to achieve the result client is looking for quickly and cheaply.
